I will be putting up a full demo of this piece soon. Meantime, I have a few shots here of the base drawing, done in black
oil paint using synthetic flats to sharply drop in enough value in the areas to make it an effective underpainting. Its not
my usual approach, since I don't usually use an underpainting, but seemed to work well as an accurate base for the color that
went over it.
